Sunrise with the Sunshine Family.

In the middle of winter, we were blessed with the most glorious clear sky for a sunrise session.
I woke at 4am to travel south to meet them at their home town beach, Port Willunga.
Chilly beyond measures, with red frozen toes and red little noses, we soldiered on to have the most magical morning. Meg is a photographer herself, so to have her email informing me that I was indeed her choice to photograph her gorgeous family, I was so incredibly humbled. We booked in her session when months later Meg informed me that- SHHH she was expecting bubba number three. This was a very exciting secret to keep and we decided to create some announcement shots for them to share the exciting news.
I call them the sunshine family because when I was with them, I just felt warm. They were so loving and kind, fun and filled with so much authentic connection. I feel I really didn’t need to do anything at all really, I was able to just watch it unfold while taking the photos.
