Under the Same Sun.

I have connected with beautiful Jen a few times over the year while admiring her gorgeous craft.
So naturally When Jen reached out asking me to photograph her family I was thrilled.
What stood out to me most was Jen’s approach to this session. She had mentioned to me, the evening to her was about the time she was spending with her family. No distractions, just time to be and to reconnect. Between life and the chaos of working and parenting. That was enough said for me to be all in and already feel a connection in documenting this family.
Jen wrote to me to say they picked me as she was wanting a session filled with connection, which I hope I delivered.
We arrived with so much time up our sleeve to play and adventure, before long the kids were covered in sand sticking to their wet bottoms from the sea. I reminded Jen, this is what were here for.
She trusted me, nothing I mentioned was too far fetched or strange. We danced and laughed, they definitely loved, hard. This session ignited the fire inside of me once more- the core of why I do what I do. To more so document what unfolds before me, the true essence of who you are over what you think you need to do. The relaxed flow of a session where you are connected and emotive. Its all i could ever hope for and more.
A look into the story of the Freeborn’s, an emotive heart felt evening by the sea.

Something else and a little off topic, but a reoccurring number I often see in my day to day life is the number 1,11,111.
When exporting this gallery to create a blog at random, I exported 111 images. The number 1 in all its forms is a sign of being where you need to be, which seems an amazing sign to me and sums up that sessions like these mean I am on the right path, I’m doing what I am supposed to do.
